Heely’s Shoes – A Fun, Stylish and Great Way to Keep in Shape #heelys

Heelys are the two-in-one shoe that lets you take life at your own pace. With the wheels out, the stylish designs perform and look just like any other shoe. When you easily put the wheels in, you roll at a different speed. Heelys are about exploring your freedom, unleashing the fun and empowering you to be fearless.

The above are the words that are shown when you go to the Heelys website. Seeing that my kids were still a bit young I did not even realize that they made Heelys for kids her age, but they do, and boy was my daughter excited when she received the pair that I selected for her (as I wanted it to be a surprise).

In receiving the shoe, I found them to be of high quality construction and the wheels that came with the shoes were also well developed. The installation of the wheels were easy to use and I loved the fact that you could heelys shoes, Dad of Divas Review take the wheels out so that these shoes could be just that, shoes if I wanted them to be.

When I let my daughter open the box, her mouth simply dropped open (as she knew what they were) and she said they were so cool and she wanted to try them right away (of course!).

We first though watched the great starting video that was on the Heelys website (this was only one of many videos that were educational in nature). The video was great and definitely gave me a better picture of what to expect for my daughter’s first try at wearing and using the shoes.

As you can see using the Heelys shoes can be a lot of fun, but they also need practice at first to get the balance down. The more I see my daughters on these shoes the more I think that I should have gotten her a pair of X2′s which have two wheels in each shoe. I think this would have been easier altogether and she would have gotten the hang of it a bit more easily. Alas, I know she will get it eventually, it just takes a bit of time.

One thing that I will say about the Heelys brand is that you definitely get exercise being on these (which is a great thing for kids and adults of all ages).
