My Take on the Product

I have been using this for a little more than a week now and I have to say that while at first the taste of this was a bit strong, you definitely get used to it, and it does definitely freshen your mouth. At first I found that this seemed to work quite well and the effects were quite long lasting, but after about a week or so I found that the freshness that I originally found was still there, but it did not last all day as I first experienced. My doing it again you get it right back, but I was surprised by this.

I also had to get used to the fact that no longer do you have a paste for your teeth, but instead you are using the natural oils to brush. This was a change that I was able to handle with ease, but after many years of the same experience, it did take a little bit of time.

I definitely will continue to use this… with how small this is, it is portable and definitely can be used at different points during the day. The concept that this is taking the place of toothpaste, mouthwash and breath freshener was great and it saved me space and money in the long run as well!

Last night was a beautiful clear night, the first we have had in some time. Because of this we decided to have a stargazing night as a family. We went outside to study the stars. Using my home telescope as well as a few apps that I have on my phone I was able to share with my kids a ton of information about the vast universe that surrounds us. I could see their eyes growing so large and seeing that we live a little outside of town we were able to see so much more than we would with the light pollution that some other people that I know have.

After doing this we surprised the kids by having placed some glow in the dark stars on the bedroom ceiling of their rooms. They were ecstatic! The look of excitement on their faces was priceless!

If you have never had a stargazing night as a family you definitely should… it will definitely open their eyes to how large our universe truly is!

My Experience With The Products

I had the opportunity to try out all of these products at a recent party that we held (thanks to Frito-Lay). We had not seen our friends in a while so it was great to be able to sit back and relax as the warm weather is finally upon us here in Michigan! We were excited also to try some of these new products, as we had not in the past, but we are fans of Frito-Lay products and Chester Cheetah is definitely a favorite among my girls. I have to say that I really liked the spicy Cheetos Mix-Ups as well as the Locos Tacos Doritos – they tasted great!!

I grew up drinking Pepsi, so when I heard about Pepsi Next, I was intrigued, I had not tasted it prior to this party, so I wanted to really see whether it still tasted like the Pepsi that I have come to love. In trying this myself I have to say that this has a much better taste then Diet Pepsi (in my opinion) and I loved that it had such a smaller amount of sugar within it (less then regular Pepsi that is). The drink tasted good, and you did not lose the Pepsi flavor, which has happened in the past in some other brands when they tried to change the overall recipe. All-in-all, this was a great new product and I may even be changing what I drink now from regular Pepsi to Pepsi Next! For my kids, though they do not drink a lot of soda, I would not have as much of an issue with giving them this, especially with the lower amount of sugar that is in this!

In getting ready for summer this was a great time just relaxing in the sun, and with temps in the 70′s, we were definitely ready to simply relax after a long week and have some great conversations with some great friends!

Of course no grilling event would be great without some great grilling! We ended up getting some gourmet burgers from a meat shop in town and had at it! Top that off with fesh corn and some dessert and we had our fill of great times, great food, and great fun thanks to the folks at Frito-Lay!

My Take On The Book
As a parent I am always looking for ideas and this definitely gave some. I loved reading the short stories of parents doing amazing things with their kids and being recognized for it. This is definitely a book that will lift you up if you are a parent and remind you of why you love being a parent. At the same time, as a parent you will relate to so many of the things that are shared in this book too. As in many of the Chicken Soup books through many touching stories you are provided both inspirational and motivational tales that will tell you their stories and through these stories you learn more about yourself.

How many of you have marinated something for a few hours just to find that the marinade did not permeate the skin and thus the flavor did not really stay with the meat? I know that for me when I am trying to marinate, the thing the frustrates me most is that you can marinate something for what can seem like days, but if you do not get the marinade under the skin the flavor does not stick with the meat. What makes French’s new line different is that it provides a fast, no mess alternative for marination that are ready-to-use and deliver great tasting flavor in just 10 minutes! They do this by injecting the marinade deep into the protein. By doing this the flavor is quickly delivered and evenly distributed to all layers of the protein.

I tried this myself, and was impressed to find that the product works as intended. The product is a one time use infuser, so you do need to use it all at once due to the contact with the meat it has. The best part though is the flavor of the meat itself, as the product a great job at sealing the flavor within the meat itself.

One little piggy wanted her nails done! Each one a different color!

Our little girls often turn to bright colors to express themselves, from favorite clothes, plastic beads and knickknacks around their rooms. And when they see Mom or an older sister with dazzling nails, they want them too…but in lime green or bright pink, if you please!

Melanie Hurley, Mom to two “fancy-girls” who love to play dress up, hated the idea of toxic nail polish on her young daughters’ fingers, especially given how often those same fingers coated with chemicals ended up in their mouths. One day, her daughter dropped a glob of solvent based nail polish onto a foam plate they were working over, and she watched the polish “eat through” the plate. She also could not stand the smell that left her feeling light-headed after painting all 40 of their fingers and toes!

So she did what Moms do best: she created a whole new solution, Piggy Paint . My Take on the Product

To be a Dad of Divas you have to man up when it comes to girlie things and with my daughter they want me to get down and dirty and do some of these things with them. I am not saying that I am looking to paint my own nails, but they constantly are asking me to be like mom and paint their nails for them. While I have not done this much, I heard about this product and thought what the hey. I was able to try out some of the different colors of this product and my girls made it very clear that the pink color was their favorite (very girlie). For me as a parent, I was a impressed by how natural this product was. Their slogan “natural as mud” is exactly what this is and they are completely non-toxic which is awesome in my book. At the same time the product is water based and the odor that you get with the product is so much less potent that regular nail polish that I have used with my daughters in the past. The final thing that was probably one of the things that I liked the best was how fast the nail polish dries. After only a few songs of the ABC’s the nail polish was dry (not even tacky). No other nail polish that I have tried with the girls can say the same.

All-in-all I was impressed and I know that I will be going to my local Walmart to look for some more product in the future!

Through its national partnership with IMG College, LetsGoREESES.com will feature the inside scoop about these fan traditions—and more—from the University of Kentucky, Duke University and University of Florida chronicled in a video series hosted by the hilarious Joey Bland, an improver / actor trained at the infamous Second City. My Take on the Site

There is so much on this site for a NCAA fan. I particularly liked the video segments with Joey Bland, but these just are the tip of the iceberg as the analogy goes. There is even a nickname generator which is one of the fun games that they have available for the fan as well (On top of everything else listed above). All-in-all this was a great site and I know that I am already printing off a few of the recipes that I have found for the final games of the tournament this year (as they look to good to turn down)!
